The Captain's Apartment (sleeps 2)

A separate secure and lockable gated entrance opens onto a path leading down to the lower terrace which the apartment shares with the studio and a utility room with a washing machine. The studio is used for additional accommodation for the apartment when there is a larger party and is never let separately. The apartment and studio are completely separate from the Captain’s House but they can be booked as a combined booking. This separate accommodation is ideal for families of mixed generations older parents who may want easier access and their own privacy in the morning as much as for older children who want to come in late at night and sleep late.

There are tables and chairs for the terrace and a barbecue. Although the lower terrace does not have a sea view, it is shaded by a large weeping fig and is perfect for breakfast and a cool and secluded place to be in the heat of the day, especially after lying on the beach.

A door from the terrace leads into a twin-bedded room with a wardrobe, dressing table and en-suite WC and shower. An archway leads into the spacious living and kitchen area. There is a big squishy sofa, a coffee table and a dining table and chairs. Although you are unlikely to need them, air conditioning and heating are available in the bedroom area and the kitchen/living room area has two opening skylights.

The fully equipped kitchen has a ceramic hob, built-in oven, Smeg fridge-freezer, kettle and coffee maker. For entertainment there is a selection of games and books and a satellite TV with DVD. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine which opens off the lower terrace and is shared with the Studio. There is constant hot water and all house linen is provided, although we ask you bring your own beach towels.

The Captain's Studio
(sleeps 2 - 4 as extra accommodation to the apartment)

The Studio has the same secure gated entrance from the street and opens off the lower terrace which it shares with the Captain's Apartment. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine for use by both apartment and studio.

It has a double bed and two full size bunk beds with their own reading lights, wardrobe, chest of drawers, table, chair, and ensuite shower, basin and WC. It is ideal for a couple, older children sharing or where younger children need an adult sleeping in the same room with them.

There is constant hot water and house linen and towels are provided, although we ask you to bring your own beach towels.
